The Czech Republic is a member of the EU and its currency is the Czech koruna (crown). You can pay by card or exchange money at currency exchange offices. You will find the current exchange rate at the Czech National Bank website ČNB.

Citizens of the EU, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Switzerland only need a passport or ID card to enter the Czech Republic. You can check whether you need a visa on the  website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

Grocery stores are open daily until 20:00 (supermarkets until 21:00), restaurants usually until 22:00. Other shops close at 18:00 on weekdays, and only some are open at the weekend.
