The Czech Republic is a member of the EU and its currency is the Czech koruna (crown). You can pay by card or exchange money at currency exchange offices. You will find the current exchange rate at the Czech National Bank website ČNB.

Are you coming to Brno with your own car or a rented car? The parking system in Brno is based on three colour-coded zones.

Grocery stores are open daily until 20:00 (supermarkets until 21:00), restaurants usually until 22:00. Other shops close at 18:00 on weekdays, and only some are open at the weekend.
